You know what? I’ve stayed at a lot of places around Marrakech, but Villa Le Clos de l’Atlas actually surprised me – and honestly, that doesn’t happen often anymore. It’s about 10 kilometers out on the Route de l’Ourika, which means you’re headed toward the Atlas Mountains (hence the name, I guess). The location is sort of perfect if you ask me – far enough from the medina chaos that you can actually hear yourself think, but close enough that you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere.

The thing that hit me first was how quiet it gets at night. I mean, really quiet. After dealing with the motorbikes and street vendors in Gueliz all day, pulling up to this place felt like stepping into a different world entirely. The property itself has this understated elegance – it’s not trying too hard to be fancy, but everything just… works. The staff genuinely seemed to know what they were doing, which is refreshing. Check-in was smooth, parking was easy (trust me, this matters more than you think in Morocco), and they actually remembered my name without constantly checking their notes.

What really sold me on the place was the attention to detail that you only notice when you’re actually living there for a few days. The rooms have proper blackout curtains – whoever designed this place clearly understood that sometimes you need to sleep in after a long day exploring the souks. The bathroom had decent water pressure (again, not a given around here), and the AC worked without sounding like a jet engine. But honestly, the best part was the terrace views. On clear mornings, you can see the Atlas peaks, and there’s something about having your morning coffee while looking at those mountains that just sets the whole day right. The pool area gets busy around midday, but early morning and late afternoon it’s perfect for just floating and decompressing. I noticed they keep the grounds immaculate without being obsessive about it – you know how some places make you feel like you can’t touch anything? This isn’t that. It feels lived-in but well-cared-for, if that makes sense. The restaurant serves solid Moroccan classics alongside international stuff, and while it’s not going to change your life, it’s definitely better than I expected from hotel food. Plus, if you want to venture out, the Route de l’Ourika has some great local spots that the concierge actually knows about (not just the tourist traps).

  The whole villa was just amazing, pictures does not do it justice! Book it guys, it won’t disappoint. The host was amazing and very accommodating to all of our requests including last minute therapist arranged for our treatments on our last day. Our driver who was arranged by our host was so accommodating and we felt safe with him at all times

  Nous avons aimé l'accueil dès le premier jour , on nous a bien informé dès notre arrivé de ce qu'il fallait savoir dans la maison et les alentours. Le petit déjeuner était riche, très complet et très très bon. La maison est très grande, agréable et confortable, nous avons aussi apprécié le calme et le fait que l'on puisse faire appel aux cuisinières en supplément pour tous les repas avec des plats traditionnels marocains. La maison est resté très propre chaque jour de notre séjours grâce aux femmes de ménages. Nous avons aussi eu accès à internet d'une bonne qualité et netflix. Très bonne accessibilité pour les personnes handicapées pour les toilettes, douches et chambres qui sont très spacieuses. Ce que l'on a vécu correspond exactement aux images.

  L'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, la disponibilité et la gentillesse du personnel.
  Nous avons eu droit à un goûter à notre arrivée, avec thé de bienvenue.
  La navette qui a effectué les transferts A/R aéroport-villa.
  Le jaccuzi chauffé, les espaces extérieurs adaptés pour les enfants, baby-foot, toboggan, ballon et espace pour jouer au foot, salle de sport très agréable.
  Les suites immenses sont décorés avec goût, une literie de très bonne qualité, la propreté des lieux.
  Le petit-déjeuner était également très copieux.
  Les repas sont élaborés par une cuisinière talentueuse.
  Nous y reviendrons très prochainement.
