Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of riads and hotels around Marrakech, but Villa Lella honestly surprised me in the best way possible. It’s situated on Route de Ouarzazate – which, if you know the area, means you’re far enough from the medina chaos to actually sleep at night, but close enough that a quick taxi ride gets you into the heart of things. The heated pool was what sold me initially (because let’s be real, even Morocco can get chilly in the evenings), and it absolutely delivered. I mean, there’s nothing quite like floating in warm water while looking up at those incredible Atlas Mountain views in the distance.

What really got me though was how the place feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel. The kitchen – and yes, it’s a proper kitchen with a real stove, not some sad mini-fridge situation – became my favorite spot for morning coffee before the day heated up. The owner clearly put thought into the details that matter: good water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually work, and reliable WiFi throughout the property. You know what’s funny? I initially worried about being too far from the souks, but honestly, coming back to this peaceful oasis after navigating the intensity of Jemaa el-Fnaa felt like the perfect balance. The location also means you can easily explore beyond Marrakech – the Ouarzazate road opens up day trips to the Atlas Mountains or even further south if you’re feeling adventurous.

The staff here gets it right without being overwhelming. They’re around when you need them but don’t hover, which I appreciate. Parking is straightforward too (trust me, this matters in Morocco), and the whole check-in process was refreshingly smooth. I stayed during shoulder season in October, and the place had this relaxed vibe where you could actually hear the birds in the morning instead of traffic. The 9.5 rating makes complete sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but everything works beautifully together. The heated pool stays comfortable well into the evening, the kitchen setup lets you grab fresh ingredients from local markets and actually cook something decent, and the location gives you that authentic Moroccan experience without the tourist trap feeling. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels like a genuine retreat while still keeping you connected to everything Marrakech offers, this is your spot.

  Le garde le plus âgée à l’entrée est un sucre , il nous a aidé dans n’importe quelle galère a des heures pas possibles il est humble souriant joyeux et la dame de ménage aussi celle qui nous préparait le petit déjeuné confiance 100% on lui laisse la maison ouverte elle prépare tout comme il se doit vrmt si je devais revenir ici c est pour avoir le même personnel qu il y avait franchement c était top
  
  What could be improved: C est un peu loin de la ville le chemin est pas très cool en voiture la piscine étais pas tellement bien chauffée mais ça va

  Nous avons tout aimé et particulièrement l'immense gentillesse et humanité de Monsieur Abdellatif.
  
  Monsieur Abdellatif a un comportement extrêmement respectueux, très a l'écoute et son objectif est avant tout la satisfaction du client. il se plie en 4 pour satisfaire chacune de nos demandes.
  A notre arrivée, il y a eu un petit malentendu concernant le repas ( la fourniture), des que j en ai fait part a Monsieur Abdellatif, il a directement répondu favorablement a notre demande.
  Bref avec Monsieur Abdellatif, c'est la garantie de vacances réussies.
  
  Concernant Aïcha, une femme adorable, discrète et très gentille.
  
  Elle nous préparait chaque matin un petit déjeuner extrêmement délicieux, la fourniture était de nous et sa main d'oeuvre était gratuite.
  
  La villa est sublime, tout est parfait, aucun vis a vis ( pour les hijabis). la piscine top, les chambres, la propreté…bref absolument rien a dire là dessus. Les photos sont vraies
  
  La villa se trouve loin du centre mais pour nous, cela ne nous a pas déranger. Moyennant 25 euros par trajet, Monsieur Abdellatif vous assure un transfert.
  il vous propose également énormément d'excursion.
  
  Au niveau des repas, vous avez le choix d'utiliser Aïcha moyennant paiement.
  
  Ou bien vous avez la possibilité de commander via leur cuisine, ils ont une carte, tout est fait maison. Les prix sont plus que correct et c'est très bon. Vous commandez via wathapp et ils vous livrent jusqu'à la villa.
  
  Monsieur Abdellatif s'est occupé de notre transfert Aéroport Villa 25 euros par trajet , c'est parfait.
  
  On a tellement aimé notre séjour dans cette villa, qu'on a juste qu' une hâte s'est d'y retourner.
