Villa Loanaelle Overview

So I finally made it to Villa Loanaelle after hearing about it from a friend who’s basically a Marrakech regular, and honestly? I get why she wouldn’t shut up about it. This place sits right in the Palmeraie area – you know, that palm grove district that’s about 15 minutes from the medina chaos but feels like a completely different world. The address says Bab Atlas, which is perfect because you’re close enough to zip into the old city when you want that authentic souk experience, but far enough out that you can actually hear yourself think.

The first thing that hits you when you pull up is how quiet it is. I mean, coming from the honking and scooter madness of central Marrakech, the silence is almost jarring. The villa itself is this gorgeous traditional riad-style building, but it’s got that polished, luxury feel without being stuffy about it. Check-in was smooth – they actually remembered my name from the reservation email, which never happens. The staff here seem to genuinely know the area too, not just the tourist spots. When I asked about good local restaurants, the guy at reception didn’t just rattle off the usual suspects but told me about this tiny family place about ten minutes away where the tagine is incredible and they don’t speak much English but somehow it all works out.

What really sets this place apart though is the attention to detail that you don’t notice until you’ve been there a few days. The rooms are spacious (and I mean actually spacious, not hotel-brochure spacious), with these beautiful traditional tiles and modern bathrooms that have proper water pressure – trust me, that matters in Morocco. The pool area is where I spent most of my afternoons, surrounded by palm trees and with enough space that even when the place is full, it never feels crowded. You can hear the call to prayer faintly in the distance, which sounds exotic until you realize it’s actually pretty soothing after a day of exploring. The WiFi works everywhere, parking is included and secure, and there’s this lovely outdoor dining area where they serve breakfast with the best mint tea I had during my entire trip. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself lingering over coffee way longer than planned, watching the light change on the Atlas Mountains in the distance. At nearly a 9.6 rating, Villa Loanaelle has earned its reputation – it’s that sweet spot between authentic Moroccan hospitality and the comfort level that makes you want to extend your stay.

  Hessanias cooking! It’s definitely worth asking her to provide the meals. Excellent value and looked after out various dietary needs. Villa staff are kind and friendly and very helpful. Facilities are exactly as described…lots to do for our active family. And lots of relaxing.
  Abdullatif made some excellent recommendations for restaurants and took us there and back safely and promptly.

  Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable dans la villa Loanaelle. Le lieu est incroyable, magnifique et parfaitement équipé (piscine intérieure, extérieure, hammam, baby-foot, billard, pétanque, tennis, tous les équipement et jeux pour enfants/bebes…).Sylvie a été adorable et s’est pliée en 4 pour nous organiser notre séjour (réservations de restaurants, chauffeurs, massages etc). Le staff de la villa est également aux petits soins. Merci pour tout! Nous reviendrons c’est sur.

  accord villa, hôte et personnel extraordinaire jusqu'aux chauffeurs qui répondent dans les 2 mn à chacune de nos demandes. côté nourriture c'était divin et l'hôte Sylvie est d'une gentillesse et bienveillance incroyable. Nous avons profité des piscines, terrain tennis, pig pong, pétanque, billard et aussi du hammam avec sa prestation de massage.

  tout les services annexes sont au top, massage, repas, ménage, sorties et activité excellentes
  
  What could be improved: la température de l’eau un peu fraîche et le hammam non fonctionnel lors de notre séjour mais nous étions au courant a l’avance.

  Une superbe semaine en famille dans une petite oasis au milieu de la palmeraie. la villa Loanaelle offre tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour passer des superbe vacances entre amis ou en grande famille et tellement d'espace que vous pouvez toujours trouver votre tranquillité.
  
  What could be improved: la cuisine et ses appareils sont vieux et ont besoin d'être améliorés mais heureusement le personnel était super pour tout préparer pour nous
