So I stumbled across Villa Naouma on the Route d’Ourika about three years ago, and honestly, it’s become my go-to recommendation for anyone wanting to experience Marrakech without the chaos of the medina breathing down their neck. The thing is, most people don’t realize how perfect this location actually is – you’re technically still in Marrakech, but you’re heading toward the Ourika Valley, which means you get these incredible Atlas Mountain views that change color throughout the day. I mean, the sunsets here are ridiculous.

What really got me about this place is how they’ve managed to keep that authentic Moroccan vibe without feeling like a tourist trap. The staff actually remembers your name after the first day (rare for a 4-star place), and there’s this lovely courtyard where you can hear the call to prayer echoing from the nearby neighborhoods in the morning – it’s peaceful, not overwhelming like it can be in the city center. The rooms are spacious, and you know what I love? They have proper blackout curtains, which is something you don’t think about until you’re jet-lagged and desperately need to sleep past 6 AM. The bathrooms are surprisingly modern too, with water pressure that doesn’t make you question your life choices.

Here’s the practical stuff that matters: parking is actually free and secure (a godsend if you’re planning day trips to the Atlas Mountains), and you can walk to some decent local restaurants within ten minutes. There’s this little place called Café Timitar just down the road that serves incredible tagines for about half what you’d pay in Gueliz. The hotel’s pool area is where I spent most afternoons – it’s not huge, but it’s clean and usually quiet except for the occasional family with kids. Check-in was smooth both times I stayed there, and they helped arrange a driver to the souks for about 50 dirhams, which saved me the headache of negotiating taxi fares. The only minor thing is that WiFi can be spotty in some rooms, but honestly, that might be a blessing in disguise. With a 9.2 rating, Villa Naouma isn’t trying to be the fanciest place in Marrakech – it’s just really, really good at being what it is: a comfortable base where you can actually relax and plan your adventures without feeling like you need to escape your own hotel.

  On remercie énormément les propriétaires Tijani et sa femme pour leurs accueil et leurs gentillesse, et surtout toujours joignable en cas de soucis . On remercie également Redouane l’ouvrier . Villa au top du top bien sécurisé . La villa est identique au photo . Propre, tout les équipements nécessaire à disposition. Si vous cherchez du repos c’est ici , vous allez séjourné dans un calme absolu. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour , on vous recommande autour de nous !

  J’ai passé un agréable séjour en famille dans cette villa. L'emplacement est idéal, offrant à la fois tranquillité et proximité des attractions locales. La villa est bien entretenue, avec toutes les commodités nécessaires pour un confort optimal avec une bonne connexion wifi ,ce qui a été un vrai plus. La propriétaire et hassan sont toujours disponible et attentif à nos besoins. la piscine est parfaite pour se détendre.
